Radmind: Remote sysadmin for Unix, including Mac OS X

Published December 16th, 2005

Radmind: A suite of Unix command-line tools and a server designed to remotely administer the file systems of multiple Unix machines.

Radmind Server Admin Freeware Originally downloaded 12/16/05.The Mac OS X version has a GUI front end… this is freeware definitely worth trying out. It’s one of several impressive-looking open-source projects developed by the University of Michigan’s Unix Group, all geared toward server and web application management on Unix systems. There’s a definite emphasis on Mac OS X here, which is very refreshing. The Mac OS X GUI, called Radmind Assistant, includes a server manager and a “transcript editor” tool.

Version as tested: 1.0
