Increase Mac OS X Process Limits (Tiger)

OS X Tiger 10.4 process limits solution
If you've ever run into the dreadful "too many processes" or "no mountable file system" errors when running OS X, here's your salvation. I started getting these when I upgraded to my shiny new G5 Quad system last month. The change coincided with switching from using 10.4 Server to plain old 10.4, and obviously it defaults to a much lower process limit. It's struck me as ridiculous, since the Quad, with FOUR processors, should be able to run many more processes than my old dual G5 powermac. Anyway, it's a simple fix, though it took me an hour or more to find it!
