Droffett is one of several excellent, free utilities from Limit Point Software

I was already using Chalaut, which adds a contextual menu item for launching any application as root, and have now downloaded Droffett. Droffett flattens any folder, bringing all files in the folder’s hierarchy into the top folder. Not to be used lightly, but I can imagine finding this useful at some point. Limit Point Software has many other free utilities on this page, plus Icon2Image, a very useful $5 tool for creating images and icons from and for files, folders, etc. I use Icon2Image as part of my workflow for managing graphics for these software pages.
