The Exporter: Converts QuickTime video or audio files to another format
Downloaded 2/16/06. Freeware has good ratings at VersionTracker… worth a try.
Update 7/8/06 Even though I’m rejecting this, it’s a very useful tool if you haven’t shelled out $30 for QuickTime Pro. You don’t get all of Pro, mind you, but if you just need to convert a QuickTime file to another format, you can do it for free with The Exporter. I didn’t actually follow through with a conversion, but it clearly just uses the QuickTime Pro conversion functions in its own interface.
