Appscript: A High-Level, User-Friendly MacPython to Apple Event Bridge

This free software lets you control scriptable Mac OS X apps using ordinary Python scripts. Wow! I’ve been looking for an excuse to learn Python, and I’ve found Applescript awfully impenetrable. The author provides 30 sample scripts, an integrated help system, and the necessary Python source code. Damn this looks good!
