Ensemble: Free RSS Reader Not Enticing
With web browsers now free, it would be nice to have a free RSS reader that was good enough for daily use. Ensemble isn’t it, though. It has some nice features–iTunes integration for podcasts, iMac or FTP synchronization, Growl alerts, comments extraction–but too many missing features such as no Webkit engine to display web pages by default, broken “smartlist” feature that presumably lets you set up smart groups, no online/offline toggle. Close, but no cigar. I’m sticking with Pulp Fiction. Reviewed: Version 1.0b7
