Gearlog : Mac Os X 10.5 May Have Native Windows Support

Published March 30th, 2006
Gearlog : Mac OS X 10.5 Likely To Have Virtualization, Windows Support This is potentially exciting stuff, at least if Leopard (Mac OS X 10.5) allows my son to play his cherished Windows games on his G5! One of the drawbacks of Virtual PC and their ilk is that they don't support Mac video cards, which means no games. It sounds like in the near future he won't have anything left to envy from the windows world, whereas his buddies will finally be able to get a Mac without giving up their games. Good article... It highlights Apple's recent move to join BAPCo, a major Windows benchmarking organization, and speculation about why they might have done that...
