I-Search Is A Cocoa Plugin that adds an Emacs-style incremental search panel to TextExtras

This looks like a useful hack for Cocoa apps that use NSTextView. It’s apparently moving on to a life on its own through an open source project called Leverage, but this is the original release… as a plugin to Mike Ferris’ great Cocoa add-on, TextExtras.

Update 5/19/06: I’d installed this InputManager file some months back when I added it to the review list, but in the meantime I haven’t had occasiion to call on it at all. Perhaps I have invoked it accidentally during that time, but not that I’m aware of. Similarly, I haven’t found the Cocoa plugin, TextExtras, terribly useful so far. That said, I’ll keep an eye on this project, and if it develops into something a little more polished, I’ll give it another go. For now, I’d just as soon have one less InputManager for my system to load, and this one’s totally discretionary.
