Macworld Opinion: Keeping Mac mini's integrated graphics in perspective
Rob Griffiths has published a fascinating rumination on what Apple's use of an Intel integrated graphics chipset in the new Mac minis means for the future of Apple computers. His initial fears that it signaled a Dell-izing of Apple PC's are largely abated by the end of the article, and he points out the dramatic improvements in other aspects of the mini's hardware design. Without a mini to actually test yet, this is a telling peek inside the mind of a long-time Mac geek as he wrestles with the enormous changes Apple is making in its approach to computer-making, as well as in its marketing language.
