OpenLaszlo posts the first DHTML demo of one of its rich UI apps All along, the open-source Laszlo project had promised it wasn't reliant on Flash for the UI experience. However, I didn't expect they would enable a choice between Flash and DHTML this soon! Still in early development, the Laszlo website has a very cool DHTML demo of their Flikr search application, side-by-side with the Flash version. Interestingly, although they certify it only for Firefox at this point, I had no trouble running it in Safari or Opera 9.x on my Mac.
