Now this is a cool use of widget technology... First, you install the ShortStat software that plugs site-usage data into your Mysql database. Then, you install a file that "glues" the widget to the database. Then launch the widget, and you've got immediate info on referrers, hits, visits, etc. Not a full-blown stats solution, you understand, but at least as good as the refer plugin to WordPress I'm using now.
