HoudahSpot's description sounds an awful lot like Moru, a terrific $10 Spotlight enhancement tool that attempts to show what the underlying Spotlight technology can really do. I'll check HoudahSpot out to see how it compares. This is a public beta version.
Update 8/12/12 Based on evaluations of recent versions, I highly recommend HoudahSpot as a powerful tool for enhancing your use of Spotlight. My only gripe is the $30 price tag, which I haven't been able to justify spending. But if money is no object, by all means get this one.
