DivX for Mac: Play DivX videos I guess I'm behind the times... I'm not really sure what DivX is, or why I should care. Everybody seems very excited by it, though... even the Mac magazines. What DivX offers that's not available in h264 and QuickTime is what I don't get at the moment. It's good to have an alternative video format, but honestly I've been so amazed by h264 that I'm surprised if anyone actually has something better. Anyway, DivX has now finally released a DivX player for Mac, and they're also finished with the Mac versions of their compression and converter tools.
