The Ruby on Rails Effect: PHP Gets Seriously Frameworked I've been coding in hackish PHP for so long, it seems entirely natural and very easy. Is there a better way? I keep reading about Ruby on Rails and how great it is... these new PHP frameworks are all Rails-wannabes in some sense. But I notice that Symfony has Script.aculo.us built in, and I've read an impressive paper on CakePHP previously. Maybe it's time to take a serious look at these new PHP frameworks.
