Microsoft Does Indeed Spy on Its Customers

Microsoft product phones home every day
Apparently, Microsoft's "Windows Genuine Advantage (WGA)" program sends a little report to Redmond every day about the user's software setup. Isn't that just wonderful! Of course, they failed to tell users about this little detail. Seems that the details may have been in that long bit of text garbage software makers expect you to read when you join a system or accept a license. But I ask you... who reads those details, really? Of course, anyone who actually buys Microsoft software is just asking for it... which is why I avoid it entirely.
