NuLOOQ Tooldial: Radial Menus Go Commercial

Published July 26th, 2006
NuLOOQ Tooldial and Navigator: Create, Control NuLOOQ Tooldial SoftwareNuLOOQ Tooldial is actually part of the NuLOOQ suite, which focuses on Adobe "creative" types. The Navigator is a Griffin PowerMate clone, with what looks like some additional features. The Tooldial is a software add-on, available separately for $49, that lets you use a nifty radial menu for most of the things you'd want to do in Photoshop, Illustrator, etc., as well as handling custom "toolsets" for other activities on your Mac. What's really interesting is that these are products from Logitech, and they're only available for the Mac at this time. When was the last time a company like Logitech put Mac users first? Anyway, the tooldial is available through MacUpdate as a demo download, so I thought I'd give it a look-see. The whole Navigator package includs Tooldial and runs $150 (!) The Tooldial demo is good for 30 days and comes with presets for the Adobe Creative Suite as well as some global ones.
