Reflection.js lets you add reflections to images on your web pages This is simply the best Reflection script out there, and it's gotten better since I saw it last. You have total control over the reflection's height, opacity, and scale, and you can use whatever background color you need to. Be sure to try the Reflectomatic online tool, which lets you see how a reflection will look with any image on the web. The tool has sliders that adjust the various parameters... on the fly, natch.
