uniAjax is a framework that can run on nearly all browsers I haven't studied this much yet, but it appears to be a framework for making Ajax requests that will degrade "gracefully" even on browsers that don't support XMLHTTPRequest calls. That could be pretty useful if you want to use Ajax on sites where your audience still uses Netscape 4 or IE 4.
