This looks like a great tool for taking advantage of the iPod's "Notes" feature, which lets you include hyperlinked text content with associated audio files on your iPod. iWriter also lets you build a website for downloading the iPod content. It's specifically designed for teachers, but clearly has applicability beyond the education market. The Talking Panda website has a particularly good screencast describing a typical use of iWriter. The company has other iPod-related products for guitarists and students of foreign languages.
