OK, I'm already paying $5 a month for Backpack, though I don't use it nearly as much as I think I should. One of these days, I'll just end the subscription if I can't more easily incorporate it into my workflow. I love Backpack, and I love the Backpack Dashboard widget. But they haven't been enough, by themselves, to make me rely on Backpack for my To-Do's, notes, files, etc. So here's PackRat, which software company infiniteNIL wants $24.95 for... Huh? Well, since TUAW has raved on it a couple of times now, I guess I'll download it and give it a go. PackRat is a native Mac OS X client for Backpack, with lots more screen real estate than the widget, and presumably much more power, too. ... But will it get me to use my Backpack account?
