Originally downloaded 1/15/05. I've had this in my eval queue for way too long... ! This freeware is made with RealBasic and does what it says... lets you play QuickTime movies on your desktop behind the icons. You can play a single movie---looped or not---or have the player read movies from a folder. Unfortunately, it doesn’t operate in single-app mode, so the desktop returns to normal when you switch applications. For this reason, I won’t be using the application myself. (Note: The software itself was last updated September 2004.)
