FastAndSlow: Control Energy Saver Prefs from the Menubar

Originally downloaded 7/14/06. This little menu extra has been a lifesaver since the tool I’d previously used started to go haywire on me after a software update. It’s trivial, really, but I had come to rely on being able to quickly change the processor settings from “Slow” to “Fast” to “Automatic” without having to open the preference pane. I find it super convenient in order to change settings when leaving the computer idle for a period of time, or to revv it up when I need a little extra oomph. The software has no preferences other than what displays in the menubar… it installs as a “bundle” in your home Library folder. I’ve used it for a couple of months now, and it’s very reliable and unobtrusive.
