Originally downloaded 9/20/06. The growing number of cool new text editors for Mac OS X must be indicative of a growing number of programmers on the platform... don't you think? Like the terrific Smultron, an open source project started by Peter Borg, ForgEdit is freeware. Beyond that, I'll have to give it a spin to tell. At first read of the nice ForgEdit website, the editor sounds a great deal like Smultron... which is my current fave in the field (despite its shortcomings).
