MegaFon: New VOIP Client for Mac OS X

MegaFon - Talk without Limits
Originally downloaded 9/20/06. I've been using Skype for about a month now, and like it pretty well. The new video-capable beta release is very cool indeed.   Skype's charges are quite reasonable and competitive with Gizmo's. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to get Gizmo to work on my PowerMac, and Gizmo tech support was no help in that. Skype doesn't work in Leopard at the moment, though, so I'm ripe for a switch. Not sure about MegaFon pricing... they seem to want to charge for the client, or perhaps I misunderstood that. It's a Mac OS X-only VOIP client, which hopefully doesn't limit you to just other MegaFon users. But it's worth a download to see what's developing in this brand new market. MegaFon has just been released for public beta testing.
