MobWrite: The Web-based Open-source Multi-user Real-time Plain-text Editor The demo website describes MobWrite best: "Mobwrite is an text box which allows multiple people to edit the same text at the same time." That about sums it up, and it's pretty darn cool. I tried it out with my wife... no firewall issues, no platform issues (she's on Windows at work, I'm on a Mac at home), no browser issues (she's using IE, I'm using Safari or Firefox). Uses Python on the server side.
