Color Blender: Freeware for picking colors and getting hex values

Color Blender FreewareOriginally downloaded 5/18/06. There are several excellent color tools available for Mac OS X web developers these days… all of them free. Here’s one I haven’t tried before, which has a couple of interesting twists. First, not only can you get the hex value for colors, you can also quickly grab the corresponding RGB values. In addition, you can blend two colors together and see the resulting color and its values. This freeware looks great… I’ll report back after trying it out.

Update 10/9/06. With Painter’s Picker in my pocket, Color Blender is hardly essential. But it does something unique… if I ever need to see a color blend and get the RGB or Hex value this will come in handy. It works well and is free: Sold.

Version as tested: 1.1.1.
