Menulicious: A Better Delibar?

Published October 9th, 2006

Menulicious lets you see your Delicious bookmarks in your menubar

Menulicious FreewareOriginally downloaded 5/21/06. … That’s pretty much what Delibar does, too. This free tool uses the code from Cocoalicious to grab the info from Delicious, though. Frankly, I never found Delibar very useful… partly because there’s just too much info to parse into a menu. But what the heck… maybe this guy’s had a great idea or two in building this replica.

Update 10/9/06. Unfortunately, this is pretty much the same as Delibar. The best I can say for it is that while Delibar crashes when trying to load my del.icio.us horde, Menulicious doesn’t. On the other hand, if Delibar worked, the latest version does something that I might actually find useful… namely, it lets me filter out categories that have fewer than x number of entries. That might help me get the list down to size. Plus Delibar is supposed to let you alter the sort order of the tags. Anyway, no matter… I’m just out of the market for del.icio.us accessories nowadays, since Musings from Mars serves as a local mirror of them anyway.

Version as tested: 1.1.
