NFS Manager: Easily Set Up Your Mac As a File/Application Server

Published October 17th, 2006
NFS Manager is a small tool for easy access to the NFS features of Mac OS X NFS Manager Networking AppOriginally downloaded 10/17/06. From the TinkerTool developers comes this system configuration software that sounds like it goes beyond the capabilities of other tools I've tried, such as SharePoints. It leverages the Mac's Unix core by taking full advantage of the capabilities of network file systems (NFS), and gives you the power through a friendly Cocoa GUI. The developer says that the app can replace parts of Apple's WorkGroup Manager tool, which comes with the server version of Mac OS X. I can see this could come in very handy for my little home network of four Macs.

Version as tested: 2.93.
