iStat: System monitoring made beautiful

Originally downloaded 11/13/06. In the same style as iSlayer’s iStat Pro Dashboard widget, iStat is a regular desktop app with a menubar etc. This new 2.0 version has the same features as the widget, with a number of beautiful skins. One nice touch is the ability to make the background totally transparent and to pin the monitor to the desktop. Unfortunately, you can’t force iStat to stay visible when switching apps if you’ve chosen an option to have only one app visible at a time (e.g., as an option in Quicksilver, DragThing, or LiteSwitch).

Version as tested: 2.0.
