Originally downloaded 11/8/06. After reading the Texter intro, I'm quite curious to see exactly what this new software app is all about! When the marketing starts with an explanation of "What it is and what it is not"... you know it's probably a category-bending piece of software. From this, it sounds like Texter is designed for writers, not programmers, first of all. And it's not going to be big on a lot of formatting options, so it's not for designers. The user interface is supposed to be a bit "different", too. Texter is currently in beta testing and is available at a special price of $29.40. The regular price will be $49 when Texter is released. Assuming I end up loving it, I hope I can get around to testing it before the beta period is over!
