Originally downloaded 2/5/06. This is a Mac OS X service that can be used anywhere services run. Updated recently to add to-do’s to the mix.
Update 12/10/06. I originally thought this service acted like a plugin to Quicksilver, but since I haven’t used it for months I forgot all about it. Then I realized yesterday it’s not related to QS at all, except inasmuch as QS can run app services. Indeed, Quicksilver already has an iCal plugin that can grab text to create To-Do’s and Events in iCal. As crowded as my Services menu already is, I don’t think I need this one.
