Originally downloaded 12/27/06. I recently added an Applescript and found another free utility that would do this, and I added 'em to my Finder toolbar. However, in many cases I would find it more convenient to toggle visibility using an application service, as DotFiles will do. It will also take care of restarting the Finder... a necessary step in the "toggle" process.
