Balzac: Full-Featured New Freeware Email Client
Published January 10th, 2007
Balzac is a new email application for Tiger and above
Originally downloaded 1/10/07. I downloaded this last month but forgot to enter it here... And in the meantime a new release has come out, which supports full import from Mail. From the looks of Balzac, this is an email client that's been completely re-thought. It doesn't look like anything else, and has what appears to be very sophisticated support for HTML email. The developer touts the fact that it utilizes "all the advanced services available in OS X, from the address book to the built-in spell-checker." Sounds good to me!
Version as tested: 1.0 b23.
