This page from the Correo wiki shows an ambitious roadmap leading to an official release in May. Today they launched version 0.1, which has some of the basics covered. Correo apparently is built on the Thunderbird code base on the model of Camino... this should prove a very welcome addition to the options for Mac OS X users in finding an optimum email client. In my view, Apple hasn't done a stellar job in getting Mail up to its full potential. (That's an understatement, I think.)
