Originally downloaded January 23, 2007. I actually have been downloading versions of TAO for more than a year, but somehow I never managed to add it to my review queue. Looking at it again today, it's obvious that TAO is a personal information manager (PIM) application, from the perspective of an outlining tool. The user interface is quite innovative, and there are scores of cool ideas at work here. One of these days I'm going to seriously try to get my mind around TAO to see how it works for some of the PIM tasks I need. A license for TAO is $30, but it won't stop working without one... it's merely not fully functional.
