photonator - photo organizing done right
Originally downloaded April 23, 2007. OK... there's not a lot to go on at this point, but the download and a smidgeon of documentation. According to the website, Photonator is missing a number of planned features yet, and the roadmap calls for the first, non-expiring, non-free release sometime this summer. Clearly, they are also building in functionality that will depend on Leopard, as well. No price yet, but I'm curious enough to see what they're so excited about!
Version as tested: 0.9.
Update 8/14/12.
Well, a few years later the software appears to be abandoned. And probably a good thing, too, since it appears to try to duplicate functionality already built in to iPhoto. A daunting task to out-do iPhoto, I should think. Besides not doing well on that score, Photonator is also butt-ugly. There are so many image management tools that do the basics for free, I can't imagine why you'd be interested in this one. Look elsewhere.
